Delete your Speek account

This page is for Speek, the IELTS Speaking practice app. You do not need the app installed to use it, and you do not need to sign in.

In the app

Open Profile and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately: your account and the data listed below are removed, and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no undo.

If you no longer have the app

You can still have the account removed without reinstalling.

  1. Email support@tryspeek.com from the address on your account — the one you used with Google, Apple or Telegram. Writing from that address is how we confirm the account is yours.
  2. Put Delete my account in the subject line. You do not need to give a reason.
  3. We reply to confirm, because deletion cannot be reversed. Once you confirm, we delete within 30 days and write to tell you it is done.

If you signed in with Apple and used Hide My Email, write from that private relay address — it reaches us the same way.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: the sign-in identifier from Google, Apple or Telegram, your email address and your name.
  • Everything you told us about your goal: target band, self-estimated band, exam timing, and whether you work or study.
  • Every voice recording you made.
  • Every transcript, band score and piece of feedback.
  • The grammar and vocabulary points collected from your answers.
  • Your notification device tokens.

What we have to keep

Records of payments you made — the date, the amount and the payment provider's reference number — for the period Uzbek tax law requires a business to retain transaction records. These are financial records, not practice data: they contain no recordings, transcripts or scores, and they are not used to rebuild your account.

Unspent coins are cancelled with the account and are not refundable in cash.

Bought through the App Store or Google Play?

Deleting your Speek account does not cancel anything with Apple or Google, and does not request a refund from them. Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple and Google directly.
